Bogart's Weekly Open Mic Night
I have it on good authority that Bogart's Tuesday open mics are awesome! Grab a cup of coffee and get comfy for a night of music, poetry, comedy --- all acts are welcome (as long as they're family friendly.)

When: Starts at 7 pm (you should probably get there earlier for sign ups)

Soapbox Sessions Open Mic @ Durty Nelly's (21+)
This one seems great, though I haven't personally been able to attend. Must be 21 or older. All types of performances welcome!

When: Sign ups start at 7 pm and performances start at 7:30 pm
Thursday, September 5th;
Open Mic Night at Anaheim Central Library
Anaheim's libraries often hold open mics, so keep your eyes peeled for those! From the listing: "Poets, singers, songwriters, storytellers, writers, comedians, supporters, and listeners are welcome! The event will include a featured reading or musical performance by a published poet or musician."

When: Sign ups start at 4:45 pm and performances start at 5:00 pm
Friday, September 6th;
Friday Night Open Mic at The Den Cafe
Held at a eccentrically-decorated cafe in downtown Santa Ana, this open mic is open to all musicians!
Where: The Den Cafe // 125 N Broadway Ste D, Santa Ana, CA 92701
When: Sign ups at 5:30 pm and performances start at 6 pm. Listing says to "ask for Rod" at sign ups.
Saturday, September 7th;
Again in downtown Santa Ana, this open mic occurs during the monthly Artwalk event. Very positive and friendly atmosphere. It takes place on Coffee Muse's porch. All musicians welcome!

OC Hit's Singer-Songwriter Open Mic
OC Hit recording studio is bringing back monthly open mics, on the second Tuesday of each month. This one is a must for singer-songwriters! Great company, great equipment, great music!
